Since he was born on Friday the 13th, "Lucky" is his nick-name! I also like to call him "Little Prince (of Darkness)"! It's funny to me because he's the sweetest little guy I've ever met!

I love this boy, of course he's eye-catching, everyone comments on him when they come to the farm! Just look at that typey head! His super fine and dense fleece has a 5" staple at 10 months, excellent crimp and really good leg coverage. And what presence, look at the way he carries himself.

He's just as black as can be, with white socks and face. Typical patterning of greys, though his blanket and neck are deep blue true black. His white knee-socks have black spots fading to grey throughout. The white obviously comes from his dam, she has white on her topknot and feet, so don't hold it against Cosby! He doesn't have a speck of white on him, except what he's gained due to his maturity. ;>

I just noticed, while carefully studying his profile pic, that his feet are actually black, too! He just has white bands around his lower legs with black/grey appaloosa spots. And he has a black spot under his chin.

His birth weight was 19 lbs, and at 10 days he weighs 25.8 lbs! He's gaining 3/4 lb per day!

He's very handsome and seems to have a quiet and calm nature, unlike his naughty sister, Kallista! However, even as a newborn he had the idea he's quite the macho and was already trying to breed the very pregnant girls in the pasture. He now lives with the other little boys juvie/yearling pasture.

You may be saying, why on earth haven't I called him pattern?! Well, either at halter or fleece shows, he will always go in the TB solid class. I'll register him correctly with ARI, but as far as AOBA Show Division is concerned, he's solid True Black. New color rules have come out, and yup, he's a solid TB as far as they're concerned. His fleece is extremely fine and shows gorgeous crimp. If I could take a decent picture, I would! I'm working on it!

And I'll tell ya, he's prettier than Scirocco was on his first day. And Scirocco has certainly turned out to be a very handsome and striking macho. This boy is one to watch.

Sale price, $5000 cash, or $1500 down and 24 monthly payments of $250. After receiving his micron report and doing some comparisons, I feel this is still a bargain price.
