Cosby is a true black full Bolivian, with rare bloodlines! He's the only black full Bolivian herdsire in the Eugene area, and the only one in Oregon outside the Portland-ish area. We're really thrilled to have him right here on our own farm just south of Eugene!

Cosby's fleece still has excellent handle and character. He has a nice mid sized conformation, weighing in at around 160 lbs, with a beautiful straight back, short nose and full top knot.

Cosby's sire, 1997 CABA Champion Stormie Knight, had microns of 23.6 at two years of age. A half brother had 23.3µ at two years, another half brother had 20.2µ at two years, and a 1/2 sister was 18.2 at 2 years. We don't have Cosby's micron report from that age, but his sire and siblings will give some idea of his fleece quality and potential as a sire. I'll tell you, I'm very impressed with the fleece on his back right now! And you should see his new cria's fleece.

This just in: Our first Cosby cria just placed 1st in a class of four for his fleece at Alpaca Mania, 2009. The judge was Amy Bliss-Miller. Those of you who show fleece know what a tough judge she is! A first place under her is really outstanding!

I continue to be impressed with Cosby's fleece for his age. The staple length is 4", very respectable for an old boy, with nice, well defined crimp. Not to mention the deep, non-fading color and luster to spare.

I just can't get over the fabulous crimp on his new cria's fleece! I'll be more than happy to send a snippet sample from this cria! Now 4 1/2 months old, this cria is quite the ladies' man and is still showing gorgeous crimp in his fleece. He has strong, heavy bone, a beautiful typey head, and fleece that holds its character no matter what the weather. He will be headed for the show ring next year!
