Pastoral Profits Peruvian Infinity, grandson of Jolimont P. Ivano.
May/June 2010.
Sale price includes Amadala bred now to Infinity, and her full Peruvian male cria at side.
Amadala is a good sized girl which halter judges prefer at this time. She's sure to put size on her offspring. She's one of the taller/bigger girls in the pastures, well conformed, very well proportioned. She's got a very sweet temperament and is just a pleasure to have around.
Amadala's sire is blue ribbon winner at MIAF 2000, under Anthony Stachowski, Benchmark's Peruvian El Capitan. He was imported in utero, making his bloodlines limited. He is maroon and had a micron count of 23.1 at 4 years! At 11 years, his micron measured 25.7.
Amadala's fleece has excellent staple length and handle, though it has lower frequency and lower amplitude crimp. However, her size, excellent conformation, and correct bite make her a promising foundation dam. We have found that having suri in the lineage definitely makes for those desirable silky huacayas. I have no question that Amadala's crias should follow this trend! We have some others on the farm with suri in the background, and many have ribbons including blues and color championships.
We're not afraid of a little H from S here! Heck, CL9 Altair's dam is H from S! And check out the new thread on the AN "forum" that discusses huacaya from suri! And I've read that there's a new, hot, halter show winner sire in the East, whose owners are boasting about his great luster due to suri in his background. It seems the judges have commented on this in the show ring back east.
Amadala was born with a heart murmur which resolved on its own, the vet found no evidence of it at her last checkup. No other offspring from either her sire or dam has had a murmur, so this is not considered hereditary by any means, it was "just one of those things." She is very strong and healthy.
Amadala delivered her first cria, May 22, 2009. Unassisted and unobserved. She has abundant milk and is an attentive mother.
This cria has nice crimp, fineness, and a really great head. He's a nice looking bay, and has a friendly personlity. His sire is CL9 Archon, who has amazing fleece even today! 21µ at 5 years! Gorgeous crimp! He's a CL9 Altair son, and a Champion at Wild West Alpaca Show at halter, he placed 2nd at the Futurity, and keeps winning blue ribbons for his fleece in adult classes competeing aginst alpacas half his age!
Amadala is half Alianza, and half Abel Condori.
Amadala is BVD negative.
All serious offers will be considered. Feel free to call or email to discuss Amadala. You won't believe her staple length!
